No Surprises Act – Good Faith Estimates Location: Live Webinar, Presented at your Facility
There is no fee for this event.
In 2020, Congress adopted the No Surprises Act, legislation to protect patients from surprise medical bills. As required by the No Surprises Act, health care providers and facilities are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges to uninsured and self-pay patients when scheduling a service. Under the law, the Good Faith Estimate must include expected charges from all providers and facilities that will likely be involved in a patient’s care, requiring coordination between providers and facilities. This webinar will cover the law’s requirements, expectations for federal enforcement, and effective dates. This Webinar is open to members of CHA and CSMS. Registration for this event is now closed. |
