CHA Issue-Based Forum - Hospital Violence Intervention Programs
Location: Live Webinar, Presented at your Facility
Hospital Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) provide targeted case management services to victims of violence, fostering collaboration between hospital providers and community resources. This forum will address the components of an HVIP, the national HVIP movement, the Connecticut HVIP Collaborative, and the Connecticut Gun Violence Intervention and Prevention Advisory Committee. Additionally, Yale New Haven Hospital and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center will share information on their HVIPs.
This forum will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions that will assist hospitals considering the possibility of developing an HVIP.
Presenters include clinical staff from several member hospitals, and representatives from The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention and Hartford Communities that Care.
This program is only open to CHA members.
