HRO Root Cause Analysis Training

There is no fee for this event.

Cause analysis teaches staff how to evaluate events, patterns of events, and causes of events, and then helps staff ascertain how to implement solutions.  The sessions are for quality, safety, risk management, and other staff who respond to events. 

Please note: this is a two-day course; participants should participate on both program dates--June 10 and 11, 2021.

This session is open to CHA HRO members.

Fostering Success: Family-Centered Care and Communication

The purpose of this educational activity is to provide information and tips on effective communication strategies for use with individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and their families.  Participants will learn about barriers to families seeking support, barriers to families visiting the NICU, and how to encourage family participation for successful discharges.  The program will also discuss awareness of cultural differences and personal biases, when working with families of individuals with SUD.  Lastly, participants will receive a list of resources across Connecticut they can use with their families.
