A root cause analysis (RCA) is a systematic approach to understanding the causes of an adverse event and identifying system flaws that can be corrected to prevent the error from happening again.  Root cause analysis training teaches staff how to evaluate events, patterns of events, and causes of events, and then helps staff ascertain how to implement solutions.  The sessions are for quality, safety, risk management, and other staff who respond to events.  

This is a two-day program; the second session will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Please note: Continuing Education credits are only awarded to those who attend the live session, and not to those who only view the recording.
