Employee Wellness
A key community for Connecticut hospitals is its employee community. Together, Connecticut hospitals, CHA, and partners have been sponsoring events, such as the Smoke-Free Connecticut Hospital Campuses and the mandatory influenza vaccination policy for healthcare workers adopted by the CHA Board of Trustees.
To assist hospitals in strengthening their efforts to improve employee health, CHA established a subcommittee to support hospitals' efforts to create a workplace culture of health, and engage in health promotion and population health management.
