Position Statements
As part
of its overall hospital advocacy efforts, CHA periodically
issues position statements, which present lawmakers, regulators,
and the general public with clear and specific insights on
the important issues impacting our member institutions.
From
hospital reimbursement to staffing shortages, regulatory initiatives,
and medical liability system reform, the challenges and barriers
facing hospitals in fulfilling their mission of public service
are complex and varied. CHA's current position statements
on some of these topics are below.
